At My 2nd Home Child Nurturing Center, we aim to provide children with quality, caring and learning safe environment. Where they will develop their social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills while learning and having fun.
At My 2nd Home, we implement a research-based curriculum.
Infant curriculum
At My 2nd Home CNC we implement a playbase dual lingual curriculum focused on fostering the infant’s social-emotional development, alongside their language skills, cognitive skills, and perceptual-motor development. We understand the importance of the relationship between a caregiver and the infants. Our lesson plans are tailored for all our children in their respective areas of development through reading, singing, sensory play, exploration, and activities that promote social and motor development. We provide a predictable schedule, which helps children feel safe. Children are engaged in meaningful interaction which promote language development, such as sign language, reading and singing in Spanish/English.
Toddler Curriculum
My 2nd Home CNC implements a creative play dual lingual curriculum for toddlers that focuses on providing an environment encouraging exploration, imagination, and creativity while supporting language development, social-emotional skills, and problem-solving skills. Themes, learning objectives, children’s energy, and developing self-regulation skills are taken into consideration when setting up the play areas throughout the classroom. Children are provided with open-ended materials and are guided through play, enhancing their learning experiences. Lessons tailor to all children’s needs and abilities to ensure their learning and development.
Preschool Curriculum
At My 2nd Home CNC, we utilize a research-based comprehensive dual language curriculum for preschool that promotes children’s independence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through hands-on project-based investigations. Our curriculum nurtures the individual progression of skills for the whole child. Through play, children are guided through their emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development in a classroom setting equipped to enhance their learning experience. In our family-oriented center, children are learning important skills while concurrently learning important core values.
